This car qualifies on all points, and because it is a Buick I know that service if needed is available nationwide. While I surely could have bought the car under the MSRP, I would rather pay more for the vehicle to have accoutrements truly consistent with a $40,000 sticker price. This assessment is even more egregious considering that we tested the more expensive Essence model; less expensive models look even more dour with their cloth upholstery, and they also lack equipment—such as heated seats—that we expect at this price.
