The M205 has silver trim and your choice of standard steel nibs in XF, F and M sizes.The Pelikan is on the smaller side coming in at 4.875″ long and a measly 0.4oz and 11g.I find Pelikans to be lovely writers and this one, with a fine nib, is no exception. I opted for a fine nib on my Pelikan M205, which has been ground to a cursive italic by Dan Smith (The nib on my Pelikan M205 was excellent, both out of the box and after being tuned and ground by The line variation on this fine cursive italic is excellent. Available nib sizes will be the standard EF, F, M, and B done in an un-plated stainless steel. Hopefully the steel nib is nice, my other two are the gold ones. I don't write with a death grip, and I tend to hold my pens fairly close to the nib, so it hasn't been an issue for me. It has Pelikan’s standard piston-filling technology, so it’s only usable with bottled ink, but that’s not a problem in this house! It is not the form factor or the nib that stands out nor is it the filling system. The BB nib on my Pelikan M205 Duo is a great writer though as is the steel nib on my vintage m200 and both do well with my writing style.
