But they aren't too hard to fix one.Anyone saying this was a purely aesthetic change has no idea what they're talking about IMO.I know this thread is old, but it's high on the google results so just dropping this knowledge here.I ended up going with the V5 with an Auber PID installed from the retailer. It seems its just aesthetic changes and a metal tamper.The element is now stainless steel rather than copper, so way more resistant to corrosion.The boiler is now insulated as standard (lots of people modded this DIY on older models).The steam wand was also upgraded so a single piece with better shaped end for cleaning and longevity.The group-head cover was replaced with something that won't corrode or get incredibly hot.Still no PID though, which is what this unit is crying out for.
