What a treat. As relevant today as it was back in the 80's. the two lead characters were unknowns and sadly still seem to be so. Some of the fabulous shots around Edinburgh and into the Highlands, set to Stuart Adamson's soaring guitar-work will make the hearts of any fan of Scotland, it's scenery and Big Country in general, soar! I thought the two leads did a decent job as being naive, but likable.FAST AND FURIOUS 9 is currently being filmed here in Edinburgh and there's been a bit of outrage by the public as they are closing off alot of roads and on top of that they don't have to pay anything for doing so (Edinburgh city officials sees it as a good way to get publicity and more tourists).Anyway perhaps not quiet FAST AND FURIOUS, Scottish film RESTLESS NATIVES do offer some good car and bike chase scenes in the city but relying more on charm.
