I typically don’t grip the pen this low, since its uncomfortable and tends to result in inky fingers, but the GO grip somewhat forces you into this position. Some (not all) pens have caps that pop-off easily when posted. I have had my eye on the clear because I wanted to see how much clearness there really was!
The TWSBI ECO for this review was provided free of charge by the Goulet Pen Company in exchange for an honest review. I wish the grip design was either fully molded, like the Overall, the TWSBI GO fountain pen is a competent addition to the $20 and under category. The main selling point with TWSBI’s take on things is ease of filling: TWSBI claims that you just need to press down once, release “and you’re ready to GO!” It is indeed very easy to fill this pen (and presumably to flush it out), making the Go not only an excellent pen for beginners but also a great pen to use for ink testing.
