If you don't like cigarette smoke you might not want to go here. The Saloon has multiple areas with different vibes; so, people can find their space.I have been a loyal customer of the Saloon for almost ten years.

The Saloon has a strong history of entertainment, with many famous guest DJs from around the country. The sercurity staff is so terrible here, My family and I went here and everything was fine until we decided to leave, I went outside to look for everyone and I tried to get back in through the patio I even had a wrist band but was pushed back and told to go to the main door, soWe were here for a special event that had a large number of attendees. As always, it's the staff who make it enjoyable. Typically a young mans club later in the evenings. We didn't want to wait for a table so we went directly to the bar to order drinks. and love to go dancing and this is my new place for dancing in Minneapolis.
Last time I went, my friend was really drunk and I wanted to get him a bottle of water and the bartender said that's not up to me, so he refused to give me one. I would stop by again next time I am in town visiting my brother. The friendly and personable staff is always making sure you and your friends are having a great time. "One day when I was driving by a very industrial looking building, I noticed a banner advertising breakfast and I kept looking at the building and thinking..."This is a restaurant?????"

The staff obviously was used to handling large crowds because we didn't wait at the bar for very long whenever we went for drinks.
Great "bar" food.
We also offer a unique wet'n'wild newly remodeled shower platform with male dancer entertainment. I came here with friends and they ate while we shared a pitcher of margarita. Bartenders attentive & welcoming, it's always unnerving walking in a bar that you've never been to that has obviously a large number of regulars but we were given attention right away.
Don't come and be drunk assholes because you were expecting attention from men who won't give you the time or day. We were amazed at how it accommodated such a large number of people.
Both profoundly apologized for being wrongfully-accused and told me they would be talking to the bounce staff. We are now open following the new guidelines and restrictions in place.

I know they have $1 drinks on Thursdays which is a steal of a deal. Standard college bar conveniently located across the street from campus.
